HCL Residential Living

HCL Residential Living provides independent, structured shared housing for older adult male veterans who are transitioning through reentry and are able to live independently.

Our homes are designed to offer stability, dignity, and clear expectations in a calm residential setting. This program is housing-focused only and is not a treatment or service-based model.

Who the Program Is For

HCL Residential Living is intended for individuals who:

  • Are older adult male veterans
  • Are transitioning through reentry, parole, probation, or community referral
  • Are capable of living independently
  • Can follow written house expectations
  • Have an identified and confirmed funding source
  • Are seeking long-term housing stability, not emergency shelter

  • Respectful, quiet, and substance-free homes
  • Community-based residential setting

This program emphasizes personal responsibility, accountability, and respectful shared living.

Important Clarification

HCL Residential Living does not provide:

  • Assisted living services
  • Medical care
  • Mental health treatment
  • Substance abuse treatment
  • Case management services

Residents must be able to manage daily living activities and personal needs independently.

Funding & Placement Requirements

Housing placement requires an identified funding source prior to move-in.

Accepted funding sources may include:

  • VA-related housing support
  • reentry program funding
  • Parole or probation assistance Private pay arrangements

Funding must be confirmed prior to placement. No exceptions are made for unfunded placements.

Referral & Review Process

  1. Referral or inquiry is submitted through the Contact & Referral page
  2. Information is reviewed for eligibility and program fit
  3. If appropriate, follow-up is coordinated with the referral source
  4. Placement is subject to availability, funding, readiness, and suitability
